Location & Tickets:
  • Call 215-413-1997 to reserve space on the tour.
  • Purchase tickets at CremaLita ice cream shop, 401A Chestnut Street (between 4th & 5th Streets next to Omni Hotel) until tour time or at the Independence Visitor Center, 6th & Market Streets, until 5:00 pm
  • Tour begins at 7:30 pm at 5th & Chestnut Streets in the Signer's Garden and lasts approximately 1 1/4 hours.
  • April-May : 7:30 pm, Friday & Saturday
  • June-Sept: 7:30 pm every evening
  • October : 7:30 pm, every evening, 9:30 pm Oct 6,7,13,14,20,21,27,28,29,30,31
  • November : 7:30 pm, Nov 3,4,10,11,17,18
  • Prices: $15 per adult ($8 ages 4-12 )

Join us on a candlelight walking tour in Strasburg, in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Stroll the streets of the town they call "Hell's Hole" and listen to the stories of haunted mansions, eerie cemeteries and lost souls. Why is crazed laughter heard in the wee hours at the Gonder Mansion? Who mysteriously appears to help customers at the John Funk house? What dark secret lies in the Strasburg Cemetery?
Hear these chilling tales and more... in the town that time forgot... and then sleep tight tonight!
  • Location: The tour begins at Mrs. Penn's Shoppe at the light in Strasburg (Routes 896 & 741)
  • Tickets: Purchase at Mrs. Penn's Shoppe.
  • Tour sizes are limited. Tickets are sold on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Scedule: 7:30pm, 8:00, 8:30 & 9:00pm tours are added in order, as each time slot fills up.
  • Tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • April - May: Friday and Saturday
  • June: Tuesday thru Saturday
  • July - August: Every Evening
  • September: Tuesday thru Saturday
  • October: Every Evening
  • November: Nov 3,4,10,11
  • Prices: $13 per adult ($7 ages 5-12 )
  • Reservations: Tickets are sold on a first-come first-served basis.
