You’ll follow an 18th century costumed guide by lantern light through the charming streets of Alexandria’s historic district known as Old Town. On this entertaining tour you’ll hear ghost stories, legends and folklore. You will also hear about unsolved mysteries, tales of romance and angry ghosts looking for revenge. Each tour is a one-hour, six-block walking tour. At the tour’s end your guide will abandon you in a graveyard!
Days and Times:
- March 17 through June 11: Friday & Saturday 7:30 & 9:00 pm, Sunday at 7:30 pm
- June 14 through November 12: Wednesday through Sunday 7:30 pm, Friday & Saturday 7:30 & 9:00 pm
- Tours depart from the Ramsay House Visitors Center, 221 King Street on the corner of King and Fairfax Streets.
- We sell tickets prior to tour times on the sidewalk next to the Ramsay House.
- You can also purchase tickets at She’s Unique Jewelry, 205 King Street.

- $8 per person ages 13 years and older.
- $5 per person ages 7 to 12 years old.
- FREE for those 6 years old and under.
- Discounts: Military, law enforcement and senior citizens discounts offered.
- Groups of 15 guests or more can schedule their own private guide for only $5.00 per person with enough notice.
