Review of Spooks and Legends Haunted Tours

    "WOW, what a tour!!! Our guide, who was in full costume, gave a complete tour as an 18th century "ghost." We were led through the dark streets of Colonial Williamsburg by the light of a single lantern. This tour was fun and realistic and the stories were suspenseful and kept us interested and hoping for more. We even captured orbs and ghost silhouettes and faces on our camera!!! We will definitely go again the next time we are in Virginia! You won't want to miss it!"

    "My family and I took a tour through historic, downtown Providence with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Elise. She walked us through history with the perfect amount of theatrical interpretation and the perfect amount of spook. Although I personally did not encounter anything ghostly, the EMF reader that was provided on our tour read some paranormal activity. It was a chilly October night perfect for a ghost story and I am happy, without a doubt, that we chose providence ghost tour for the experience."

    "What an amazing tour this was! Not only was the guide captivating and sincere the amount of history and "happening" in this little historic area was WOW!. Every place we visit, the local ghost tour is one of our stops! This is truely awsome evening to get away to the quit streets of Kissimmee, far away from the bustle of Disney & Universal. Also, we captured many paranormal activities on our camera's."

    "I gave this tour 1 star only because I was forced to give some type of star rating, and they wouldn't allow me to give NEGATIVE stars! I only registered on this site so that I could review this tour, which we went on in October. I have been on scores of ghost tours across the country, and this was, by far, the worst. It was a total waste of both time and money, which is why I felt compelled to comment. The tour consisted of driving around in a van, pulling to the side of the road, and the "tour guide" providing a few sentences of information. His sidekick would shine a flashlight on whatever spot being referenced, though you could typically only see trees or brush. We were never allowed to get off the van because of "liability issues." To make matters worse, the tour guide said "actually" every few words. I finally told him to stop saying it! Again, the WORST tour of any kind I have ever been on!!!"

    "Great tour, and great way to explore some of the sites of Watkinsville at night. Melissa's knowledge of the town's history is expansive. I would recommend to anyone who lives here, as well as anyone passing through."

    "We did this tour Halloween night and it was a fantastic way to spend the evening. Melissa is funny and entertaining, and she spins great tales about the haunted places all around Watkinsville. I would highly recommend this tour, especially for people who love history. There was a lot to see and hear about and it was a festive and entertaining way to spend the evening!"

    "Follow Rory Raven as he leads you through parts of Providence's historic East Side. Stroll along Benefit Street, where you just might encounter the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe. Stand outside of The Shunned House, the subject of one of H.P. Lovecraft's most infamous books. Journey past St. John's Cemetery, where vampires are said to have raisen up from their unholy graves. This tour is rich in history, and Rory's accounts of the supernatural events that have transpired here are sure to send shivers down your spine."
